Let's not forget Palm's investment in the long migration to Linux. While
their decision was made over a year ago (or at least the announcement), it
now becomes evident that this choice was wise. How many companies are
liaising to create a mobile platform based on Linux? Almost a dozen giants?

They lack potential leaders. Ballmer is a disaster and Gates has left (/is
leaving). This reminds me of that scenario where you have Bush in charge and
Clinton can no longer run for presidency (and he has a /stained/past... pun
intended!).
