It's a common perception.
Read just about any Linux vs Windows blog and you will surely see the
phrase come up in the discussion.

The COLA gang has sprung a spring by mobilizing and trying to defend one
of their soldiers when, at least so far, it appears Roy has used
copyrighted material without permission.

THAT'S the subject.
Not all this drivel you are writing in order to change the focus of the
thread.
