I guess plonking doesn't work when someone replies. Regardless: yesterday I
spent about 3 hours at the gym, with a friend; I then went to see an
excellent film with another friend and, in the evening, I had a little round
of [News]. I woke up early and the sun rises at about 4 AM this time of the
year. The light partly penetrates my shades, so...

It's best to ignore him. Some of his recent behaviour proved him to be
childish and unfriendly. He is not fond of reading about the demise of a
company which he once worked for; a company that financially sorted him out
for life, I might add.
