What he probably noticed is that I made an argument and supported it
with facts. Whereas you resort to simply calling people names and think
this somehow proves I'm wrong.

Where exactly did I view the "Linux community" as a monolith? Perhaps
you need to read my post again because I made absolutely zero mention
of the Linux Community or cast any wide nets by accusing "some" or
"all" or "most" of anyone of doing anything.

All that I pointed out is that it's hypocritical to tout PS3's selling
for high prices as being "motivated by demand" and boast in other
threads how they're being auctioned and then use this exact behavior
against someone only to claim that it's now unethical.

If it was unethical than the original title of this thread should have
been:

"Second-hand PlayStati*nix 3 Value Rises to $1,200, Motivated by GREED"

Especially since the "Motivated by ______" part does not appear in the
title of the article and is something that Roy added himself. If he
disagrees with people doing this then he either should have A) not made
that remark or B) Declare that it's motivated by GREED.

Instead he plays this up as such a good thing (motivated by demand) and
starts other threads boasting how PS3's are being auctioned on various
sites in Europe, etc. So why is it that when someone decides to risk
their own money and do the exact same thing that he's condoning it
suddenly becomes immoral and "marginally illegal."

Sounds very hypocritical to me.
