well, some companies do wish to remain loyal to ms. some believe that in
being ms partners they have some badge of excellence that they can
display as a sign of competence.

of course for yourself and i seeing rhce/linux+ is a much bigger sign of
competence. all one has to do for partnership is get a a couple of
employees to pass msce and ms certified developer... easy stuff really.
sort of seen similar as a badge of office.
