[News] AP Windope Reviews Linux Tablet

Review: Pepper Pad PC for couch potatoes

,----[ Quote ]
| I really want to like the device, because Minneapolis-based Pepper
| Computer Inc. had the guts to give Microsoft Corp.'s Windows a pass and
| use Linux, an "indie" operating system.

|
| For activities like surfing, the Linux software isn't a big impediment.
| The interface is a little different from what we're used to on Windows
| and Macintosh PCs, but it's intuitive enough, especially since the Pad

The review is not bad, but it's clear that all the reviewer's criticisms are
due to the fact that he's stuck in a Windows-only universe, which I found
amusing. It's like reviewing a truck and arguing it's hard to drive because
you typically ride a Mini.
