Hmmm, I've been thinking about this recently.  I expect there will
soon be a glut of still very usable (with Linux anyway) used PCs
out there that have been discarded as not adequate for Vista.  Is
there a business opportunity there somewhere?  You can probably get 
the hardware for almost nothing... software is free...  You just 
need a support mechanism and a distribution channel (both directions)
than does not eat up your profits.

I've too many irons in the fire already, but I expect someone else 
will find a way to make it work.
