I keep watching and waiting, and waiting and watching.
The current problem is, Vista already has a horrid reputation amongst
people who don't even know much about much. If the average Joe is
leery, expect the uptake to run anywhere from slow to never. At least
where a large base of users is concerned.
I'm sure some bargains will show up. But it might not reach the same
price level that a flood would bring. So that leaves little wiggle room
to make anything on it all. Still, I'd settle for some machines that I
could turn into home servers and can expect to see last for some time
to come.
In the meantime, I keep watching and waiting, and waiting and watching.
