Addendum: it's worth mentioning that many people rely on programs that will
never be compatible with Vista. What Microsoft essentially does here is
eliminate the existence of some third-party software ('housecleaning')
without leaving room for choice. To makes matters worse, it promises a
service pack in 2008, yet it makes it impossible to get a PC with XP, which
is what the customer actually wants. Along with a generation of buried PCs
(not Vista capable) you will also have several generations of 'buried'
programs that can no longer run under Windows. It quite nice, is it not?
