Re: Boycott Novell

I'm asking this because of interest, and from a position of
ignorance. Am I right in thinking that Google places ads for
Novell on Roy's boycottnovell.com site because Novell is
mentioned in the URL and also frequently in the content?
And if this is the case, is there any way in which a site
owner could get Google to stop this? That is assuming the
site owner wants to continue carrying Google ads.

The point is that Roy gets on his high horse and criticises
anyone, everyone and every website where they take add revenue
instead of pursuing some sort of religous zealot ideal.

Where has Roy discussed revenue generating in c.o.l.advocacy?

Yet when it comes to him making the almighty buck... it's a
completely different story. It doesn't matter if the adds that
run conflict with his personal beliefs. It's all okay as long
as he gets his add revenue.

Yeah, right, nym-thief Capt. James Pike, Capt. Morgan, Colonel Ichabod Conk, Dr. Disco, Dr. Fafoofnik, Dr. Feelgood, Dr. GroundAxe, Dr. Hungwell, Dr. Hurt, Dr. Livingston, Dr. McGillicudy, Dr. Pain, Dr. Seymour Butts, Dr. Shlongwell, Dr. Shlongwell (aka your Boss), Dr. Smooth, Dr. Zhivago, Dr Gang Green, High Priest O'Murphy, Lintard Luser, Meat Plow, Mr. X, Nedd Ludd, rafael.

It is just like the fuss you trolls were making two months ago, of the 3 average hits a day on his personal website. Revenue generating at $0.03 US per click would have earned Mr. Schestowitz $0.09 per day on the average or about $2.70 US per month. At $3 US per month or $36 US (18 quid) per year, his charitable earning is a mountain out of a molehill.

Any more nit picks?
