Earlier today I read a second article about UNIX being replaced by Linux in the
New York Stock Exchange. Windows was not even mentioned. Mind you, the London
Stock Exchange crashed about a month ago. It appears to be one of the only
ones that run Microsoft technologies and Microsoft puts a /HUGE/ amount of
resources to make it seem like a model deployment (they use it as a reference
in their anti-Linux propaganda, aka "Get the Facts").

Linux just works. Windows is dysfunctional, but it has a PR/spin department  
 that just works.
