I love my linux, but I am amazed with the Microsoft bashing on this
board. Is that what "Linux Advocacy" means? You guys are
giving the impression that there is more bad to say about Microsoft
than there is good to say about Linux.

Because Microsoft deserves it?
Someone, tell me I'm wrong!

You're certainly NOT wrong.

When Microsoft uses proxies like SCO to persistently hurt Linux, that's not nice.

What does this have to do with Linux advocacy?

When Microsoft Windows, being a commercially-backed project, adopts >a design
that deliberately excludes rivals, that's not nice.

What does this have to do with Linux advocacy?
You might as well be talking about Chevrolet.

When Microsoft hires what it call "Munchkins" (astroturfers) to spread lies
about rivals' products, that's not nice.

What does this have to do with Linux advocacy?

Dunkin' Dounuts has lot's of Munchkins.
So does the land of Oz.

When Microsoft places anti-Linux ads in pages that describe Linux >favourable,
that's unethical.

Microsoft describing Linux as favourable is unethical?
Tell it to Novell.
Novell seems to be supporting Microsoft's olive branch to Linux.

When Microsoft hires PR firms to send letters (on behalf of deceased people)
supporting Microsoft, that's just corruption.

What does this have to do with Linux advocacy?

When Microsoft hired 'analysts' to perform studies, then flips the outcome
over, masks the sponsorships, and uses so-called facts (as in "Get the
Facts") to lies about rivals, that's just corruption.

What does this have to do with Linux advocacy?
And FWIW, a large percentage of your posts cite bloggers to back up
your subject lines as if they were credible.
Or better yet, Linux vs Windows studies done by Linux magazines,
groups etc.
Who do you think you are kidding?

All you are doing is seeding Google and even that's not working.
Hint: Google your own name and see what it diggs up.

When Microsoft talks about "squeezing the trigger on Novell", that's just
criminal.

How is this Linux advocacy?

Simple. Look up advocacy in the dictionary. You have to compare Linux to something in order to do advocacy.
