Maybe a mischievous employee that does not respresent the company's stance?

Another conspiracy theory: someone found a tie between Microsoft and the
service which MythTV relies on. There's suspicion that Microsoft /could/ be
trying to sabotage Linux here (possibly like the FCC recently... as well as
the NY legislature).

The vandalism to the service is another possibility. Where is it coming from?
One might argue that Windows botnets could play a role.
