Microsoft is bitter at the moment. Its DRM'ed or WMV'ed content is no longer
needed. This whole Web 2.0 bubble is taking off while Windows Live is dying
(with a 1+ $billion investment behind it, _last year alone_). Microsoft
wants to destroy novelty and return to the middle ages of computing. It
recruits the lawyers to do this.

Viacom v. YouTube: Will Web 2.0 Survive?

Haha. It's circular. Like I said before, Microsoft fears crime no more. When
you have stolen a car, you're likely to be speeding. You're already a felon
on the loose, so what have you to lose...? Car chases with the police? Bring
it on. Make that 2 years in prison. Or 4. What's the difference anyway?
You're f**ked either way, so it's worth trying to escape. Can't undo/revert.
