Actually he's also a Windows/CSS/Basic fanboi with an infamous anti-FOSS
agenda. He has an archetypal Basic programmer's mentality.
He's also worked in PR and "evangelism", i.e. he's a professional
propagandist ... a prime target for Sweaty's Munchkin portfolio.

The "issue" is sour grapes that Negropronte went with Sugar on Fedora,
instead of Watts' "Leopard"-based junk on a Win/Mac solution.

Probably, but who would really want to? Infecting a small, low power,
rugged, educational device with a monstrosity like Windows, just for the
sake of lining Sweaty's pockets, is hardly conducive to reducing poverty
in the third world, or improving their education, or improving the
productivity of the OLPC XO. Where's the motivation? Or more precisely,
where's the *honourable* motivation?
If you want to experience the Sugar interface for yourself, by far the
best way is to simply download the LiveCD:
http://olpc.download.redhat.com/olpc/streams/sdk/build1/livecd/
It's primarily a Fedora Core 6 distribution, and can by updated/extended
from the primary repos accordingly, if you want.
Bear in mind, the Sugar interface is for school children in an
educational environment ... nothing more nothing less. Emphasis on the
word "children". Watts' 'Toys "R" Us' comment conveniently ignores that
fact. He also ignores the fact that this is fundamentally a full Linux
distro, with access to all that entails, should the user eventually
grow-out of the Sugar interface.
This is an educational tool that fulfils an important role, and does so
very inexpensively, and for *zero* profit. Any arguments against it must
be motivated by sour-grapes, predatory agendas, or greed, and are simply
not worthy of anyone's consideration. Indeed I find such attacks totally
reprehensible, despicable, and unjustifiable.
