It couldn't configure mine, but it found it. It said it needed another
package.

That's OK. Until recently the only one that could ever configure it out
of the box was openSUSE. And the others that could recognize it
couldn't figure out what driver to use.

Lately, though, most don't get it out of the box, but a package or two
will get most of them to set it up. I don't mind using ether at install
time anyway, since I'm usually setting the laptop up with a cable
connected that isn't used for anything other than intial laptop
configuration.
