Gates was saying that as a PR stunt. He was hoping people would forget he
said and for the most part, they have.
It is my opinion, that neither Gates nor Microsoft have any interest in
taking care of the zombie problem as long as they are not held liable for
their gross incompetence and as long as they continue to keep their
market share. They will take care of the problem when it start to cost
them their bottom line.
