I'm sure he didn't leave by choice.  His work was a total fiasco, he
spent £130 millions of licence-fee cash with his previous employer,
something which should always be looked upon with suspicion.

The focus now should turn to Erik Huggers at the BBC and Adrian Farquar
at the British Library, both of whom are demonstrating entirely
inappropriate usage of taxpayer/licence-fee cash.
