...I suppose there is that.

Based on the fact that Microsoft lives or dies by it's stock price,
I doubt if they can get away with too much false negative spin in
their filings.

...also, the fact that Linux is immune to many of the monopoly tactics
Microsoft uses on others doesn't mean they don't have that influence.
