This situation has been utterly appalling. How can the BBC deny all
those people using Opera and Minimo on small footprint devices? All
those people who use Safari or Firefox on Macs? All those people who
use Firefox or Konqueror or Galleon on Linux? Indeed, all those people
who use Firefox on Windows?

It is *not* the role of the BBC to impose Microsoft-only methods onto
its licence-fee paying public. Those who did this should be looking for
another job about now.
