Fascinating story.  I didn't know that Windows apps running under Wine
could pick up viruses, but it makes sense.  Is the same true for
Windows apps running under OS/X?  Eric makes it sound like it's a
Linux problem, not a Windows problem.  If it happens under OS/X, too,
then that's obviously an OS/X problem.  Obviously.  Never mind that
Linux and OS/X never get viruses when they *don't* run Windows apps.
As for Paula screwing up her xorg.conf file from the command line, I
don't know what could be done about that except not to teach her how
to use the command line.  She could have done something similar under
OS/X, or she could have erased her registry in Windows.  Then her
boyfriend buys her Vista.  Given that he wanted to spend a lot of
money on her, he should have bought a Mac, seeing as how the Vista
machine also got viruses in short order.    You know Linonut has some
interesting quotes.  The one I'm thinking about now is, how did the
fool ever get his/her money in the first place?
