It's BAD BOY BALLMER!

   The book is as successful as it could be considering Maxwell's lack
   of access.

   Microsoft Chief Executive Steve Ballmer declined to be interviewed
   for the book, as did virtually every other current and former top
   officer at the company.

   In addition, he said, "I have never come across a less helpful group
   of public affairs people than Microsoft's propagandists."

That was a pretty decent book.  At the end of it, though, the author 
talks about how Gates glared at him.   What did he expect?  Gates to
blow him a kiss?

"Cookie jar" accounting above, "managed earnings" below.  How about
"managed code"?
