You missed the part about linux being "no threat" while Windows and its
madcap parent are definitely threats, and are acknowledged as such.

You also missed all of those posts that had nothing to do with Windows,
MS, criminal acts by others, etc. How can you miss those? Those often
generate some of the longer threads where DuFuS, Qook, EZ, even you and
Timmy get involved in trashing a "non-threat". Like when the subject of
ARM has come up, for instance.

> Hint: Being critical of something doesn't mean you fear it.

Hint: Hanging out 24/7 in a group devoted to something that's not "a
threat" just to dis it means you're obsessed with it, whether or not
you feel threatened by it.

OTOH something *is* a threat (MS/Windows), is an agreed-upon threat, is
a threat acknowledged even by people who claim the other thing (linux)
is *no* threat, but you don't see people using that other thing
trolling the groups devoted to the known threat. You don't find that a
bit odd?

People who wash their hands constantly for no rational reason are
recognized as having a disease (or disorder). But people who spend all
of their time on doing another irrational, obsessive thing (trolling a
product they claim is nothing and is going nowhere) is not? Either they
fear it or they have a mental defect.

There are certainly cases of both around this group. IMHO there are
more with mental defects than genuine fear, with several who fall into
both categories.

Why not go out on a limb? Isn't that where the fruit is?
