Actually, if you are talking about the home user, I do not
know of many who have $1.5K US (750 GBP) worth of software on
their home computers. This may be true of the person who has
a decent salary and is in technical management or people
management.
Others who cannot afford Microsoft Office will prefer
Microsoft Works or another suite like WordPerfect. This is
where OpenOffice is an alternative. Downloads have already
reached 200 million.
Not everyone brings computer file type work to home.
