 They can actually be quite good, though some people's eyes are more
sensitive than others. The original Palms had 160x160 screens, which is
not really enougth (though I did read a book while on vacation that way
once). Once you get into 240x320 territory it's actually not so bad, and
I'm looking forward to the 320x320 screen I'm supposed to be getting
today. :->

 Most readers have *much* better screens than that, now, too. It's nice
to have a book wherever you are, but having plenty of reference material
right on hand is quite useful, too.
