I agree that optimising run-time (and launch duration), most probably by
preloading libraries, is excellent progress. That is *precisely* the reason
why benchmarks involving Office and OOo on Windows have been so
controversial. In SuSE 9.3, it still takes OpenOffice as much as 20-30
seconds to launch for the first time. RAM is usually vacant though, which is
not the case with a Windows XP that uses the same hardware capacity.
