believe that they are dependent on Microsoft. This is of course why those
evil ODF people have to be stopped. If the formats are independent of
Microsoft then governments will be independent of Microsoft. It is at that
moment that governments will start extracting all the money back from
Microsoft that they paid in the past.
I guess Bill and Steve will try to keep the gravy train running for as long
as possible, but it won't really hurt them if Microsoft folds together like
a pack of cards. They are already incredibly wealthy. It will be the 90%
unemployment in Redmond that will make the headlines.
