That's the problem. The only people who have time to waste voting on posts
on newsgroups probably are the least qualified to do so -- and that's if
*voting* on posts was really necessary in the first place. 

Google's search engine is great and I'm glad they took over DejaVu's
newsgroup servers when that outfit went belly up -- but things like voting
on posts makes me wonder if Google has too much money and time on
their hands.
