I'm wonder just what you could do with a multi-processor machine built
on a set of 80 milliwatt processors like this Geode.  I know that you
don't get linear scaling, but even so, 16 of them would come in at 1.2
watts, and 16 x 433MHz could perhaps be competitive with some GHz
machines?

This kind of approach could spawn a new generation of mini-machines
which could slide into the space being vacated by the death of the
desktop PC?
