It depends on your monitor, graphics card and a few other components for
interaction.

If you say which devices you have and then list the contents your xorg.conf,
perhaps obvious issues can be raised and proposed corrections made.

Did you have a graphical installer for Fedora? Do you fail to have it appear?
If not, perhaps you already have a coarse xorg.conf file in your X
directory. You can then re-use it by replacing what was automatically
detected.
